TIP #1:
The secret to beautiful, soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies is to NEVER over bake them. A slight golden brown on the bottom is the darkest you want them, or they will start to get crunchy and hard
Cook Time
Prep Time:
Total Time:
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup non hydrogenated margarine
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 package chocolate chips
Instructions
- Take all wet ingredients (the first 5 on the list) and blend them all together. Then add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix until it's all creamy and smooth, then mix in the chocolate chips.
- Bake on ungreased sheet for 8 - 10 minutes @ 350°.
- Let cool and enjoy your delicious, chewy chocolate chip cookies.
- *Remember not to over brown them or they will turn out hard and not so soft and chewy

Delicious Baking
TIP #2:
Instead of adding milk chocolate chips, try adding dark chocolate chips for a richer, not so sweet, flavour. Want something other than chocolate... why not try some butterscotch or peanut butter chips?
The Cookie Sheets of your Dreams

These large cookie sheets will cut down on your baking time dramatically, so you can sit and enjoy those oven fresh cookies with everyone else sooner.

Get that perfect bake every time with these stoneware cookie baking stones. The more you use them, the better your cookies will taste, after all, they say it's all in the seasoning.
Mix it well...
TIP#3
If you like a bit of crunch, add some nuts. Walnuts, pecans.... it's all good. Your nut is your oyster... or so I've heard... you could even throw in a few raisins if you'd like.
Stainless Steal 3 Piece Mixing Bowl Set

With nice tall sides to slow down on spillage, this is where the magic begins to happen in every kitchen. Add all of your love, hugs, and kisses into this one bowl to make the sweetest desserts for your loved ones.
Always have to taste test, just to be sure.
TIP #4
If you go to make this recipe, and you find out you don't have any chips around, it's not the end of the world. Just try them without, they are still soft, chewy, and mighty delicious.
Always a treat when the kids are helping too :)

Hi Para i familiaku,If you like coikoes, then try this. It's really ez & good!Hi Anonymous,This recipe is really ez. Actually, when I went to attend my baking course, we were taught that washing is part & parcel of baking. Many people are just put off by washing, while I'm not. I do admit that I have a helper, but most of time, I did everything by myself, including washing, excluding keeping! Hahaha...That I have to qualify. For me, I usually keep all those common ingredients together - sugar, flour, eggs etc around the same place. My things are kept all over the place, but the good thing is, I know where to find what (though I have like hundreds of stuff around). I prepare all my ingredients, weigh them all before starting on my creaming/mixing. I also get my trays, baking paper, oven all ready before I start. So when I start, it's like a production worker, one after another. From creaming to dropping all the batter on the trays, took about 25mins or less. Weighing and preparing took about 15mins, then it's into the oven to bake. I only preheat my oven when I'm half way through dropping my batter. So that my oven dun get heated for too long.Sometimes, the oven waited too long for the pans. Other times, it was just nice.I hope that will encourage you to bake. After that, it's washing. So to include washing, it'll take about an hour or slightly more? Enjoy your baking, washing is part of baking. The interesting thing about baking, to me, is the process. The final product is a bonus!

I agree shortening instead of butter does much better and cooking until slightly brown is the key. This is what my mom does in her world famous cookies. Everyone says hers are the best!
